Are Raven & Crow products handmade?

Yes. Raven & Crow Apothecary products are thoughtfully handcrafted in small batches rather than mass produced.

Working in small batches allows us to pay close attention to the ingredients, formulation, and details of each creation.

Because our products are handcrafted, slight variations in color, texture, scent, or appearance may naturally occur from batch to batch.

What does “small batch” mean?

Small batch means our handcrafted products are produced in limited quantities at a time.

This allows us to maintain greater attention to detail while creating products as they are needed rather than producing large quantities for long-term storage.

What ingredients do you use?

Ingredients vary by product. Complete ingredient information is provided on individual product listings and product labels whenever applicable.

We thoughtfully select ingredients based on the purpose and formulation of each product, with an emphasis on botanical ingredients and quality materials.

If you have an allergy or sensitivity, please review the complete ingredient list before using a product.

Are your products all natural?

We prefer to describe exactly what is in each product rather than relying on broad terms such as “all natural.”

Do you offer unscented products?

Availability varies by product and collection. When an unscented option is available, it will be clearly identified on the product page.

Please remember that “unscented” does not necessarily mean a product has no natural aroma. Botanical ingredients, oils, butters, waxes, and other raw materials may have their own naturally occurring scent.

What is your magnesium spray?

Our magnesium spray is a topical body-care product created with magnesium chloride and packaged in cobalt blue glass.

Why do you use cobalt blue glass?

Cobalt glass is part of Raven & Crow's traditional apothecary-inspired packaging and provides a beautiful, reusable presentation for appropriate formulations.

We also love the way deep cobalt glass complements the old-world botanical aesthetic of our apothecary.

How should I store my products?

Unless the individual product states otherwise, keep products tightly closed and store them in a cool, dry location away from excessive heat, moisture, and direct sunlight.

How long will my products last?

Shelf life varies depending on the formulation.

Are your candles made by hand?

Our handcrafted candles are created in small batches with careful attention to the materials, fragrance, appearance, and overall experience of each collection.

How do I safely burn my candle?

Always follow the safety instructions included with your candle.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep burning candles away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable materials, and place them on an appropriate heat-resistant surface.

Trim and burn your candle according to the instructions supplied with the product.

Will my handmade product look exactly like the photograph?

We do our best to represent our products accurately.

However, handmade products and botanical ingredients naturally have character. Minor differences in color, texture, botanical appearance, or other details may occur between batches.

These variations are part of the small-batch process and do not necessarily indicate a defect.

How quickly will my order ship?

Current processing estimates are provided during the ordering process or within our Shipping Policy.

Because many Raven & Crow products are handcrafted in small batches, processing time is separate from the shipping time provided by the carrier.

How can I track my order?

When tracking is available for your shipment, tracking information will be sent using the contact information associated with your order.

Please allow time for the carrier to scan and update the shipment after receiving your tracking information.

What happens if my order arrives damaged?

Please contact us as soon as possible after delivery and include your order information along with clear photographs of the damaged product and packaging.

We'll review the situation and determine the appropriate next step according to our store policies.

Please retain the original packaging until we've responded.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?
